Patricia (Patty) Hodge has been a Registered Nurse since 1981 and a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry since 1997. She began her work in mental health nursing in 1990. Patty holds two national credentials from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Board Certified Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and as a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health.

Her degrees include an  Associate's in Applied Science in Nursing from Suffolk County Community College, Selden, NY (1981); a Bachelor of Science with a major in Community Health and a minor in Health Counseling from St. Joseph's College, Patchogue, NY (1987); and a Master of Science Degree from Stony Brook University School of Nursing, Stony Brook, NY (1997). She is presently enrolled in the  Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at Stony Brook University School of Nursing.

In addition to this formal academic instruction, Patty completed a two year program in the Diocese of Rockville Centre's Pastoral Formation Institute for Lay Ministry (1991), with a third year of study in the formation of Small Christian Communities (1992). She holds both Basic and Advanced Certificates in EFT from the Pace Educational System.
